A passionate expert of cool-climate winemaking, our Chief Winemaker Tim Heath gained his Bachelor (Hons) of Agricultural Science (Oenology) from the University of Adelaide in 2000. Since then, he’s travelled extensively and crafted wine in the Northern Rhone, New Zealand, Clare Valley, Barossa and Coonawarra. We’re thrilled to have him at the helm of each and every one of our vintages.

Born and raised in South Australia, Matthew has had red wine running through his veins for as long as he can remember. He received his Bachelor of Wine Science from Charles Sturt University in 2007, and has gone on to create award-winning wines as a specialist red winemaker. He honed his skills in some of Australia’s most famous wine-making regions, and now he’s using all his experience, talent and knowledge to craft Coonawarra wines. Every great label needs a true red wine aficionado on their team, and we’re glad Matthew’s on ours.
